New Boots and Some Leopard

So I've decided to try some different posts for this blog, including some photos of me casually posing around campus and sharing my style. Please let me know what you think! Thoughts, questions, and comments are encouraged.

Yesterday I decided to wear my new oxblood Doc Martens, which my parents gave to me for my birthday. I love these boots because they are thick, warm, and comfortable. While Doc Martens have a stereotype of being worn by rebellious teens who wear all black and extremely tight skinny jeans, the boots are now a stylish way to add edge to any outfit. I also decided to wear my leopard peacoat because, hey, it's my birthday. I wanted to make a statement whether fellow students walking along Commonwealth Ave knew it was my birthday or not--most likely not.

I'm in love with my leopard coat and Docs. I'm sure these pieces will be popping up in outfits to come. Let me know what you think!
