Instead of Instagrammy Sunday today, I'm sharing a little photo diary of my Cape Cod vacation. My grandparents live in Falmouth so we try to get down there as much as we can. This summer we were able to stay on the Cape for a whole week, which is actually very difficult to do with all of our busy schedules. We went to the beach, shopped, dined and spent time as a family, which is rare and sometimes very necessary. The week was fun and relaxing.

I've been traveling to the Cape since I was an infant since my mum grew up there and my grandparents still live there. You could say that we know our way around and the good places to go. Here are a few of our favorite spots in Falmouth:

Breakfast:
  • Cape Cod Bagel
  • Percy's Place
Lunch/Dinner:
  • The Flying Bridge
  • The Quarterdeck
  • Paul's Pizza -- the best pizza.
  • The Boat House
  • Clam Shack
Shops:
  • Green Eyed Daisy
  • Board Stiff
  • Mashpee Commons
  • Eight Cousins Books
There are many more places to go that are great for shopping and dining, but when we have limited time, these are the places we head to first. As for the beach, lately we've been going to the Heights, but when I was younger we'd often go to Old Silver Beach, which is just as nice.

While visiting the Cape, my family also went to Martha's Vineyard for the day. I will have photos and a list of favorite Vineyard spots on the blog later in the week. I hope you enjoy the photos and tips!
