Vineyard Photo Diary

Leaving the harbor on the Island Queen.
The most delicious tempura shrimp sushi from The Lookout.
For all the Vineyard Vines lovers out there...

Dinner at Nancy's for my gramma's birthday!

Last weekend I shared my photos from my Cape vacation, and I promised to do a photo diary of my family's Vineyard day trip. Martha's Vineyard is one of my favorite places. Every time my family would go to the Cape when I was younger I'd ask to go to the Vineyard. Unfortunately, as my brother and I have gotten older, our summers have gotten busier, and we really only get to go to the Vineyard one day a year. We usually take the Island Queen ferry to Oak Bluffs for the day. Sometimes we'll visit Edgartown or Vineyard Haven. Occasionally we'll even make the trip out to Gay Head lighthouse in Aquinnah since my gramma grew up there. This trip we just stayed in Oak Bluffs, but that sounded perfect to me.

When we visit the Vineyard, these are our favorite places to go:

There are lots of other places to eat, shop and see, but these are the ones we try to get to when we're only doing a half-day trip. Seeing as the Vineyard is one of my favorite places, I love talking about it. So, feel free to ask me about more places to go!
Enjoy the pictures!
