A Little Leopard

J.Crew Leopard Button-down (similar) | Gap Skinny Jeans | Sam Edelman Shoes | Essie Bikini So Teeny Polish

Happy 4th of July week! Let's celebrate with a little leopard print… I mean leopard print is a neutral, so why not pair it with your red, white and blue? (Please don't) Anyway, you may think leopard is more of a wintery print since it includes browns and blacks, but it actually works for spring/summer too. Leopard pairs well with white jeans or shorts. Plus, when considered a neutral, you can add some color with shoes or accessories. I paired my leopard button-down with neon coral strap wedges to add some color to the outfit. You could also wear colored earrings or skinny belt! Below are a few more summer leopard pieces for inspiration.

Hope everyone reading is having a great start to the week! Tomorrow I'll start to get in the USA spirit with the World Cup game. Quite the patriotic week, huh?

Thanks for reading!

Little Pink Bag

Little Pink Bag

A couple things I've learned as a new Boston commuter: stay organized and always have hand sanitizer. I usually carry a Longchamp tote that holds my laptop, chargers, notebook, sunglasses and anything else I could need. But, I quickly realized that little things such as hair ties and hand sanitizer can't just be floating around in my bag. The solution? A compartmental bag! One that will hold all the little items you need all in one place.

I purchased this little pink Marc by Marc Jacobs nylon bag in the sale section at Nordstrom. An extra 25% off the sale price made me seal the deal, and I'm so glad I did. Here are a few items I keep in my little pink bag:
Untitled #45

I keep my compartmental bag full of a couple hair ties (the above ones are Emi-Jay), hand sanitizer, gum, lip balm, tampons, Advil, Band-aids, dryer sheets (for when my clothes get static-y) and anything else I think I could possibly need. The compartmental bag keeps all of these smaller items organized. Plus, if you're changing bags for the day, it's easy to just throw the mini bag into your new one without feeling like you've forgotten anything.

Do you have a mini bag within a bag? What do you keep inside?
I'd love to hear in the comments section below!

Coral Midi

Interning every day has made me get more creative with my outfits, since summer cut-offs and tanks won't cut it in the office. I purchased this ASOS midi skirt this spring, and it's so comfortable. I don't have to worry about it being too short in the office, yet it's still airy and cool on hot days. Midi skirts can easily be dressed up or down. Here, I paired it with a white button-down loosely tucked in for a more professional yet relaxed look. Midi skirts also pair well with crop tops and t-shirts for a more casual look.

Aside from midi skirt styling, these photos are totally unedited! That is how amazing a day it was in Boston on Monday. Not too hot, not too cold and the sun was shining, making my coral skirt as vibrant as can be. One of the offices I intern at is conveniently right on Boston Harbor too, so I get to look at this pretty view of the water and sail boats on my lunch breaks (and take scenic blog photos). No complaints here!
